This week I accomplished a lot of what I wanted to, including figuring out what technology could be used to create the lights display, and figuring out how much each design idea would cost. However, I would have liked to accomplish a little more planning, and maybe make some prototypes for what the design will look like this week.
Last week I did several things. The first was I made my shirt for Advanced Media Arts. The second was I copied down an order form for buying bricks with your name on them for the Chute 50th anniversary. Then I started a new project where I was researching number lighting, and how to project numbers onto walls and control colored lights. To get ideas for that, I googled different number lights displays, and I printed out my favorites for inspiration. By the end of this week I hope to have progressed more with the light display, maybe figured out what technology we can use to create the number lights.
About 2 weeks ago I went to the Women's March event in downtown Chicago. It was super fun to be there with my family and support a cause that I believe in wholeheartedly. These are some of the photos my mom took at the march, and they really show how many people showed up to support women's rights.
