My favorite parts 0f this class was how we could go and do our own thing and how we really didn't have directions to follow, we kinda just went on our own which is really good because it shows how to be independent. I liked how I was able to make slime in this class, and being able to use the cameras and take better pictures, I feel like I've gotten better at taking pictures because one had practice and two because the of the cameras. Something i wish we could've done different is do more things outside of class and be more involved in things outside of the school, like having to do with making things, there were a couple times when there wasn't really anything to do, and others when I didn't know what to do. Overall I learned a lot in this class and I really enjoyed it.
Something I really enjoyed while tie-dying was taking pictures of everyone but something that could've improved was making it a little more interactive, and like different colors like yes the green for chute and it would be less of a hassle but it would've been nice to have different colors, at least maybe for 8th grade. Also i wish i could've done more with the shirts like washing and drying them. Another thing is i don't think we should screen them i like the way they are right now, the gold is going to br kinda hard to see on some shirts.
My goal for this week is to get all the slime organized and have them all labled, and then make the slime
This slime came out good, we added
5 tablespoons of glue
about 2 tablespoons of baby powder
one squirt of lotion
and we also added bad slime, we added too much borax to one slime and this slime was a little to sticky so we added them together and it came out perfect
This time we had different glue, it was purple and dries clear. We put lotion and board and a little baby powder but it didn't turn out right. When we added the solution it just stayed a liquid it never came together, then we left it over night to see if it could dry but it didn't it just stayed a liquid so this one was a fail👎
We made our first batch of slime it didn't turn out how we wanted it it was a little too sticky but that is because we added to much water.
1/4 cup of glue
3 tablespoons of water
2 tablespoon of baby powder
couple drops of food coloring
For the second trimester something i new i learned was how to use the wood carved. I also learned more about photoshop and how ands what to use when cropping or editing pictures, since I'm designing the yearbook I'm getting used to photoshop. I also learned a little bit about making shirts and sweatpants and how you have to stuff them with think paper so the paint doesn't bleed through, and how you have to be organized so you don't mess anything up. Also you have to make sure that the peoples last names have to be sized and fitted on either the shirt or sweatpants so it can fit. In editing photos i learned how to crop and size them and how to change the lighting, i also learned that if you're using a same design for something, instead of starting fresh, you can just change the name of what you're working on to what you want it to be and then just delete the words and pictures and put in what you what to be there, and in this case it would be a whole new page.
