Joselyn and I are working on a project celebrating 72 years since the Holocaust officially ended but also to create awareness that this event was huge. Joselyn and I were doing a Social Studies project on Immigrants coming to the United States and we really took the project seriously. We had many ideas but in the end we a decided to do Immigrants from the holocaust. I myself knew quite a lot but I was always so desperate to find out more. Researching and looking at all the horrible pictures really impacted the three of us who were doing the project. So Josely and I decided to do something special because we want to show the people how this event made a big dent in our world and we hope that it won't happen again.
This is my Ping Pong project. For my ping pong project I was really confused on what to do at first, I saw everybody making weird and wacky things but I wanted to take mine to the artsier side butI didn't know how to do it. So I got the inspiration by my friend Jocelyn because she had put a filter over her project and I wanted to do the same but I also wanted to keep the color of the sky so I decided to trim the trees and put a nice purple sky. Another thing in noticed a lot of people were doing was adding a lot of weird things to their poster so I decided to try it and it did not give me the result I wanted so I tried taking things out of the picture and that got me to the finishing product.
So after some hard work I've finished putting as many names I could find it was pretty hard looking for lists but one you found one there was loads of names. So it took me a long time to copy and paste only the names on this poster because there was so many more information I was reading I couldn't concentrate. This information included the way they died and that information in itself is pretty bad. There were many gas chamber deaths and A LOT of suicides. However this is not the end, I still have to figure out what I'm going to put for the quote in the middle.
So this is my final product, it looks pretty basic but it actually took a long time. Like I said in my previous picture, I'm actually not really surprised how it turned out I kind of expected this, and I'm a bit disappointed it too me this long for it to finish but I still like it.
I am currently working on a project wth Joselyn on an Immigration Project in which we are going to interview the generations of immigrants and the real immigrants.
These are just some of the pictures of the day I went to take picture a long time ago (September 26 2017). These pictures are one of the ones that I really like because the one on the left has a really pretty lighting. And the one on the right I like because it's taken on the exact moment the ball is being kicked.
