My favorite part of this class is the freedom to work on what you want, whether it is minecraft or 3D printing or carvey or photography. Things I might change would be to hold whole class learning sessions like learning new things in photoshop or flash. I learned how to use the 3D printer and carvey which can be useful later, and more useful if they become more common.
I am going to display my 3D printed keychains which can be brought there. Then my Flash project #1. And then my screencast for the minecraft project, one for each trimester.
The best part of the 50th anniversary was that people from graduating classes of earlier years. It kind of felt more like a Chute family reunion. It was kind of all over the place until the ending speech. I personally would have had more stuff in the auditorium so more people could see the band performances, for example.
For the advanced media tryouts I would give them a choice on what to do, like if they want to work in photoshop or in flast etc.
The video overall was pretty good, but it could be better. I think that the photos of the prep for the tie-dye should have been at the start of the slideshow. because it was the start. I feel like it should have been more video than photo. I also feel like it needed something more, I don't know what but I think it needs something more.` I also think it should have stuff we do every year and not just the exclusive 50 stuff, like skate time or field trips.
