I really liked the independence in the class because i did not have a specific set of rules or a specific thing i have to finish at a point of time. I also liked the big group project of the 50th anniversary because we all had different things to do and out own goals.
I do kind of think we are held back from our full potential. I would change the fact that even with the freedom, we are sometimes abruptly asked to do something, even when in the middle of a different project,.
I am turning in anything because i can not put 360 stuff in docs or drive, but i am displaying the 360 videos and picture at Yea
Some skills you should have-
you should be able to use a camera, take,, pictures and videos, and edit them.
you should also know how to work without guidelines, because most of the class are self-made projects that you make guidelines for yourself.
You should also know a bit more about computers than the normal person.
have patience my very young padawan. And never loose you lightsaber, it is your life.
(also be a nerd)
The best parts of the 50th for me was finding all the cool spots i could film and take pictures of people and the presentations with the 360 camera. I think the only thing i would change was to be allowed backstage so i could get better picture and videos from the stage but i was not allowed to be back there for some reason that no-one knows.
Last week i finished designing my fidget spinner, which took me two days, and for the rest of the time i worked on Minecraft Chute with Asher and Emit
In the last month, i have been working with Gabby and the 360 camera. WE took pictures with it, and we are going to take pictures of active classrooms. My goal is to get pictures or videos of active classrooms for the 50th anniversary. To complete the project i had to download the theta app, then learn how to use it. i had to take pictures, and make sure that they worked properly. i had to learn how to take videos, and how to post them online. I also researched a lot to find a better website to watch the videos on. I use the cardboard viewers, but they are not very good for videos were the camera is moving, so we tested another viewer that worked better, so we decided we may buy more of the new ones.
I worked with Gabby, and we decided the work by switching of. I accomplished taking pictures, videos, posting them online, and finding the viewers. I am proudest of the dank videos i took. Some things i learned from the software is how to edit videos and pictures.
My areas of expertise are taking the pictures and videos, and editing them.
I think i did well with the research, and a lot with the taking of pictures and videos.
I can use my learning outside class with taking 360 videos, and posting things online.
Weekly does not support 360 pictures or videos so i can not post any.
Last week i created some presentations in minecraft for Chute 50th anniversary, unfortunately there was a accident, and exploding pigs fell on it. It was then destroyed.
For picture on projects like the parkour course, go to Asher's Page
For the last two weeks, Dash, Owen, Miles and I, have been making a skyscraper in minecraft, call the DT tower (Toby and Dash tower) and we have created little skydekcs, like in the Willis tower.
